Tracks from various artists were selected and compiled to from the collection named “New Blood 016”, of course on Med School. In this issue, producers are coming from Ukraine, Italy, Australia, Japan, Canada, Estonia, Russia and the UK.
“New Blood”, that’s the name for track collections which push D’n’B and related styles to a new or at least unusual level. And the “016” hits the bullseye!
No less than 17 great tracks with influences from Jungle, Liquid Funk or Drumstep, presented by producers from all over the world. My favorites so far include the very dope “Spells” by Lynch Kingsley and Ilk, the Trap-styled “Magic Flute” by Neve as well as Distant Future & MT’s “Hardware” with its very synthetic, techy sound.
Too many good tracks to mention them all and not one I would not play! In conclusion, this compilation is absolutey recommended for all D’n’B music lovers who are not only searching for the next anthem, but like to listen to great music and innovative sounds! Two thumbs up for the New Bloods!
